I am literally floored this place has such great reviews. I'm so blown away. Maybe I just came on a TERRIBLE day when the dishwasher was the only cook and had no idea how or something. The food was so awful, I will eat anything and that food was dam* near inedible. If you have ever had real Mexican food and expect something slightly similar please dont eat here. I am assuming these good reviews are from someone who has never eaten real Mexican food? But besides that the restaurant was clean and the server was so friendly and everyone there was super nice. Excellent service, if we could just fix the food part, this place would be 4 stars for sure.

Good food served quickly, with staff that are friendly. The pork verde is very tasty, so much so that I’ve come back a couple times and ordered it every time. House salsa is good as well; even better when mixed with the house made hot sauce.

This is your standard Mexican-American fare. They do a good job here and the service is good.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in the West Jefferson area! BIG selection of items on the menu, what I would consider to be good prices, quick service, the restaurant appears well lit, clean, and the servers are friendly and helpful. My one complaint is the seating, the backs of the seats will move quite a bit if the people sitting around you are fidgety! Normally it’s not a big problem, but if someone else can’t sit still, it’s very annoying!Otherwise I am very, very happy.

The food is fresh and good. The drink selection is great. The staff is very friendly and informative. I usually have Tacos de Carnitas. It hidden in the back by Wal-Mart and the gas station.

Great Mexican cuisine at a very clean, cozy restaurant with spectacular service! Before our dishes arrived we received warm tortilla chips and salsa. We ordered a chef special and combination platter for dinner and both dishes were fantastic! All of the servers we interacted with were so friendly, helpful and accommodating! Plus, their sopapilla desert was delicious!! We highly recommend! 😁

Sold out of my Chile rellenos and margarita was watery but food was good and service was excellent except for check out. I wonder how many walk out without paying?

My family and I eat here very often. This is our go to restaurant on any given day because it is one of the most reliable and consistent restaurants. The food and service are always wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. Love this place!

Really good Mexican food, especially with it being right next to a Walmart in West Jefferson. Definitely reccomend if you don't want barbecue or a burger in the immediate area.

Set my family in the back with big group. Asked to be moved to front where we could get waited on told me no , was no seats saw 6 open tables. I watched two other family's get up walk out. Cause of no service. So we followed behind them. Walked by Employees at register did not ask if everything is alright. It has always neen a good place to eat. Will be a very long time before i go back if ever Hope they hire some help.

Great authentic Mexican at a fair price. The wait staff is friendly. The dining area and bathrooms are clean.

We eat here often. Well this night the food came SUPER fast but the waiter disappeared right after wards. I finally went to the cashier to ask for more drinks. He handled the missing waiter issue with great grace and speed. At checkout he discounted our meal and gave apologies again. I didn't expect the discount and very much appreciated the apologies. We will go back. Everyone has an off night.

We walked in here today to a nearly empty restaurant. Much to my dismay, I saw three televisions in the dining area showing Fox News. Sorry, I don’t support businesses that opt to run propaganda television like that. If you can’t at least have CNN or MSNBC on too, I won’t patronize your business. I immediately left upon seeing Faux News and took my liberal dollars elsewhere.

My family loves eating here. You will have complimentary chips and salsa almost immediately to get started. They have really good lunch specials. Service is always good, and so are the food and prices.

Really good food. One of my favorite W Jeff restaurants. Try to come when they are not so busy. They do not have a hostess, so the waiting can be frustrating. You just have to go with it. If you see a clean table head there and ask some staff if you can sit there. That’s how I have to do it on Sundays after the church crowd shows up. They usually seat the largest groups first so if you’re a couple you need to be proactive. Great food usually good, quick service.
